Then I got an offer to the National University of Singapore in 1997. I worked in T.Y.Lin (South East Asia), Singapore after I got my Master of Engineering degree. I came to USA in 1999 for my Ph.D. degree. I graduated from North Carolina State University with a Ph.D. degree in 2003. Right now, I am working and living in Oceanside, CA. I am preparing for the exam of California Professional Civil Engineer License in October. Based on my several year oversea experience, I understand that becoming a council member means to service rather than benefit.
