Location: Torrey Pines State Park (http://entertainment.signonsandiego.com/profile?id=91223) Directions: 1. from north: Exit Interstate 5 at Carmel Valley Road and go west 1.5 miles. Turn left onto North Torrey Pines Road and continue approximately 1 mile along the beachfront to the right-hand entrance. To get to the trail head parking and visitor center, continue up the curving road approximately 1 mile. 2. from south: Exit Interstate 5 at Genesee, traveling West toward the ocean. Make a right onto Torrey Pines Road - you will drive past the golf course and when you see the slough and wetlands to your right, you will need to turn left into the Torrey Pines State Beach and Reserve Area.) Time: Saturday (Nov 12) 10:30am-2pm Schedule: 10:30am-12:00pm Hiking at Torrey Pines StatePark; Gather point: north entrance parking lot of the park at 10:30am 12:30-2pm Lunch at Great Moon Buffet (1840 Garnet Ave, CA 92109, 858-273-6868) Gather point: front entrance of the restaurant at 12:30pm (if you are not going hiking, you are still welcomed to join us for lunch) What to bring: Some water and Sunscreen Parking: Carpool is encouraged. Parking along the north Torry Pines beach is free. Parking at the park parking lot is $6 per vehicle.
