let's go hiking this sunday in pyramid peak trail. the high temperature for
sunday is expect to be 25C, which is great for hiking.

Pyramid Peak
http://www.localhikes.com/HikeData.asp?DispType=0&ActiveHike=39&GetHikesStateID=1&ID=5261

Highlights: Desert Divide, PCT, Southern end of San Jacintos, Oaken forest, incredible views

7.5 miles round trip, 2000ft elevation grain, 4.5 hours

Trailhead:
The trailhead is very simple to find. Drive east about 4.5 miles past the Lake
Hemet Store on the 74 Palms to Pines Highway. The road is clearly marked as
Morris Ranch Road. Turn left. There is a fire station on the northeast side
of the highway and a ranger station just down the road.

Note the trail head is about 2hr away from UCSD

Plan:

We leave around 8:30 and it is about 2hr driving from UCSD.
Hopefully, we can get started around 10:30, then we should
reach the peak by 1pm. We take some rest have lunch and head
back. we should be back at the trail head by 3:30.

Equipments:
Radio: I'd take some two-way radios with me, but i doubt we'll need them
Food: everybody should bring lunch with him since we'll have lunch at the peak
Water: please bring plenty of water with you, you never know when you will
       need it.
Sunblock: though 25 degree isn't too high, basic sunblock is still recommended.

Please let me know if you are coming, so that we can arrange carpool and
know how many people to wait at the trail head. Hopefully see everyone on
sunday :)
