$685 for 1bedroom in a 2br+1ba apt at La Jolla Del Sol (UCSD affiliated
housing) available from July 12
I am a neat, easy-going, considerate, female, postdoc fellow in UCSD.
Looking for a clean, responsible, female graduate or working professional to
share a 2br+1ba apartment in La Jolla del Sol.
La Jolla del Sol is a gated luxurious condominium-style community owned by
UC San Diego in a prime location just minutes from campus. All apartments
are pre-wired for cable and feature private patios or balconies, full size
washer and dryer, refrigerator, dishwasher, range and dining room ceiling
fan. The available unit is on the third floor which has high cathedral
ceiling and wood burning fireplaces.
Residents enjoy the use of two heated pools and adjoining spas, two lighted
tennis courts and a fitness room. (FYI, the available unit is pretty quiet
because it is not facing any major traffic road or a swimming pool or a
tennis court.) Doyle Community Park is just across the street, and shopping
malls and grocery stores are all within walking distance. City bus and UC
San Diego Shuttle service provide transportation to campus at no charge with

The rent of the whole apt for a one-year lease is $1422/mon. Since I am
renting out the smaller bedroom of the two, I only ask for $685+1/2
utilities (electricity, cable and internet) for a month. The room is
available from July 12th, by which both of us need to sign the lease.
However, the actual move-in date for you is flexible (but no later than Aug
1st) and will be correspondingly prorated.
