Mr. Scott Warmuth and Mr. Mike Shi from Law Offices of Scott Warmuth will be there with you to address the latest immigration issues that concern the CSSA members the most. One-on-one case evaluation after the seminar will be available. The Seminar will be held on Sunday, Feb 12, from 1-5pm in Cognitive Science Building(CSB), Room 001 at UCSD main campus. The number of ways possible to immigrate to the United States, and their basic requirements. 2. The categories of employment-based immigration, their definitions, requirements 1) Requirements for the category of EB1-1: Alien of Extraordinary Ability 2) Requirements for the category of EB1-2: Outstanding Researcher 3) Requirements for the category of EB2: National Interest Waiver (NIW) 3. Suitable categories for most students/scholars to apply for a green card: Case studies 4. I-140 and I-485 Concurrent Filing: Processing time, new regulations for applicants born in Mainland China and India 5. H-1: new quota, new regulations, new fees, etc. 6.
